Sharks make it into Lincs Junior 'A' final for the second time in three years.

After only making the 'B' final last year Sharks have done it and qualified in 3rd place for the 'A' final of the Lincs Junior League.   

This is a fantastic achievement and follows on from our success at winning the Lincs Senior 'B' final a few weeks back. Now we would like to win the 'A' final as well. It's a tough call but let's see if we can field a full team of first line swimmers for this one. In 2004 we finished third in the final and 4th overall in the league. That's the target to beat this year.

The date for all your diaries is Saturday, 16th September 2006. If you are normally selected to swim in the Junior league teams then please try and keep this day clear. A full team will be published shortly but in the meantime keep this day.

This year we qualified in third place behind Lincoln Vulcans and Cleethorpes and District 'A' team. Both teams are very good and can call on swimmers from a much bigger pool than us so we need to put out our very best to stand a chance of finishing in a strong position.

We will need to field 9/u, 10/u, 11/u and 12/u teams. If you normally swim in these age groups we need you.

We will also be swimming against Scunthorpe Anchor,  Louth and South Lincs.

The gala will take place at Yarborough Pool, Lincoln.

So get your diaries out now and mark that date. 16th September. Now . .
